The Lewes BPW’s Round Up PLUS is a simple yet powerful way for you to help those in need within our community. By enrolling, you can donate effortlessly to assist individuals struggling to pay their utility bills.
Here’s How It Works:
- Round Up Your Bill: When you enroll, your bill will be rounded up to the next dollar. For example, if your bill is $62.38, it will be rounded up to $63.00. The extra 62 cents will go directly to local charities and community programs like the Community Resource Center and St. Vincent de Paul.
- Additional Contribution Options: You can also choose to:
- Add a Custom Amount: Contribute a specific amount of your choice to your monthly bill.
- Make a One-Time Donation: Easily add a one-time donation on your next bill.
- Matched Donations: All donations made through Round Up PLUS are matched by Lewes BPW, amplifying your impact on those in need.
Why Participate?
The funds collected through Round Up PLUS are used to support individuals and families in the Lewes community who are at risk of having their utilities disconnected. Local charities work closely with Lewes BPW to ensure that assistance goes to those who need it most, helping to keep the lights on and water flowing.
How to Sign Up:
- Visit the SmartHub Portal: Go to SmartHub and select Round Up PLUS under the Bill & Pay section.
- Via Paper Bill: If you prefer, you can sign up through your paper bill. Just check the appropriate option at the bottom of the first page.
Flexible Participation: If you find that you can’t contribute at any point, you can unenroll from the program at any time.
