The recent water testing results from the watermain have come back absent. Lewes BPW crews are now beginning the process of bringing the watermain back into service.

  • Discolored Water: If you notice any discolored water, please be assured that it remains treated and safe to use. The discoloration is likely due to sediment displacement.
  • Action Required: To clear up discolored water, run cold water from a tap for approximately five minutes or until the water runs clear. Avoid using hot water during this time to prevent sediment from entering your hot water heater.
